Vote For "Crime Cats" and Help Cat Welfare Association!

Sunday, I was on hand at Magic Cruises & Tours for the unveiling of their entry in the It’s a Wonderful Window Contest, which has been organized by the Old Worthington Partnership. The Magic Cruises display is Crime Cats themed and features life-size Jonas, CatBob, and Neil Higgins!!!

From now until December 26, shoppers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite window display through a ballot box set up inside each participating store. Each vote is a minimum contribution of $1 ($1=one vote). Shoppers may vote as many times as they want, as much as they want and for as many windows as they want. The organization’s window with the most votes (largest contribution) at the end of competition, wins the Bronze Window trophy. More importantly, all the charities will be winners as each charitable organization will keep 100% of all the money placed in their ballot box.

My friends at Magic Cruises & Tours chose Cat Welfare Association for their charity. Which means all donations will go toward helping Cat Welfare continue to save cats as they have been doing for 70 years!

I'm asking Crime Cats fans to come up to downtown Worthington to see all of the displays and cast a vote for Cat Welfare at Magic Cruises & Tours (656 High St, Columbus, OH 43085). We all worked very hard on it. It's the first time I've had to illustrate something life-sized and I'm really happy with the way it came out!

The photo above was taken at the unveiling, but doesn't do the display justice. It needs to be seen in person.

"Crime Cats" Coming to TV!

CatBob, Neil Higgins, and I spent yesterday morning filming a segment for Broad & High on WOSU. As you can see, CatBob took to the cameras as expected. Neil, being a private fellow, was slow to warm to the attention, but eventually gave in. The segment on Crime Cats is slated to air in mid-December. Keep your eye on my Twitter account, the official Crime Cats Facebook profile, and here for more details.
