CCMC Wins Literacy Leader Award!

The Crime Cats Mystery Club, the shelter reading program I put together with Cat Welfare Association, was given the OELMA Literacy Leadership Award Thursday evening for our work pairing young readers and homeless cats to improve reading confidence and nurture empathy.

I’m honored for the recognition and for my good fortune to be working with the amazing board, staff, and volunteers at Cat Welfare.
