Crime Cats Comes to Richard Avenue Elementary and Highland Park Elementary in Grove City, Ohio!

I got to live out one of my dreams last month when I was invited to my first elementary school, Richard Avenue, in Grove City, Ohio. And even better, the faculty at neighboring Highland Park Elementary had me in as well. Both visits were amazing! The kids were incredible! I was so honored to have the opportunity to share the writing inspired by my childhood in Grove City with the kids who are living theirs. I even received some great artwork and thank you letters. I've posted a couple of them below.

As 2016 draws to a close, I want to express my sincere gratitude for all of the support Crime Cats has received. Total sales of Crime Cats titles have topped 7,000 units—and 2017 is shaping up to be even better!

My plans for the coming year include plans to write and release Crime Cats, Vol. 4 and work with my friends at Cat Welfare Association of Ohio to launch the Crime Cats Mystery Club; a shelter reading program for children aged 6 to 13, coming early 2017.

But even with the amazing support of readers and fans, there would be no Crime Cats without the help of my family, friends, artistic collaborators, retail partners, printers, show organizers, postal employees, and everyone else that has helped me successfully navigate the tumultuous business of self-publishing.

It's because of all of them and all of you that I'm looking forward to 2017 with wonder, ambition, and a renewed passion. And I send my best wishes to all for success, health, and happiness in the coming year.
